Les seeks, through the periscope effect, the boundaries of contemporary fairy tales and digital games. The minimalist game mechanics and linear structure of the resulting project bring the primary closer to interactive animation. Atmospheric immersion in an 8-bit tuned forest places the visual language of the project in the relationship between contemporary illustration and halftone noise (dithering) of traditional video game culture. Narrative sequences aren't presented by text or voice. It focuses on visual information anchored in the game environment itself or the image overlay (HUD).
